Congratulations to Earth Sciences professor Andrea Grottoli for receiving the Mid-Career Scientist Award from the International Society for Reef Studies! This award is made annually in recognition of excellence in research during the last decade.
Elsa Saelens is a BS student in the School of Earth Sciences. This past summer she had the opportunity of a lifetime to travel to Antarctica with SES professor and director Berry Lyons where she studied the geochemical variations of streams within the dry valleys of McMurdo.
