SES alum Dan Kelley was recently awarded Best Earth Science Book of the Year for 2019 by the Natural History Museum in London and the Marsh Trust for his textbook, In the Footsteps of Darwin: Geoheritage, Geotourism and Geoconservation in the Galapagos Island.
Dan Kelley is a 3-time alumnus of SES (B.S. 2003, M.S. 2005, Ph.D. 2009) who has worked as an instructor of our Geology Field Camp and served on several SES thesis and dissertation committees. Formerly an Associate Professor at BGSU, Professor Kelley is now the Dean of the School of Natural Resources at Hocking College.
