Mark Kleffner's research is focused on Silurian conodonts and Silurian stratigraphy, primarily in the Midcontinent outcrop area, North America.  He is presently actively involved in projects located in Ohio, Kentucky, and New York that incorporate chronostratigraphy, d13C chemostratigraphy, and biotstratigraphy measurements and interpretation.
