Earth Sciences undergraduate majors, Lily Kleban and Becky Anderson, have been awarded competitive McKenzie–Brecher Undergraduate Research Scholarships from the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center. The scholarships that will support costs of the students’ research—Lily’s on chemical weathering of volcanic ashes and Becky’s on petrology of rocks from Taiwan.
