Professor Panero speaks on exoplanets at AGU

Research from Panero lab helps narrow the search for life in the universe

Presenting some of the work done by current and former students in her group, including undergraduate students, Professor Wendy Panero gave an invited presentation at the Fall 2018 AGU in a joint AGU-AAS Session on Frontiers in Exoplanets, followed by a panel discussion. Her work in the field of exoplanets has demonstrated that the compositional makeup of rocky planets has direct control of the fate of the planetary surfaces, offering a path to identify which of the thousands of discovered exoplanets in the Galaxy may host life.
