Where has your degree taken you?
I have worked in over 30 countries worldwide. Work involved evaluation of existing mine operations, proposed operations and exploration projects for base, precious metals and gems. My initial job was underground in the Anaconda Mines at Butte, Montana. From there I worked in the Bingham, Utah district for US Smelting Refining and Mining Co, Southern Arizona and Alaska for ASARCO, Inc. I worked as a driller, drill contractor, dredge engineer and eventually specialized in alluvials. I am an Associate with Canadian and American Consulting firms and still do an occasional contract.
