A BS in Earth Sciences in any of the three available subprograms requires 28-29 units of preparatory coursework.

Supporting math and science (take all, total 20 units):

  • CHEM 1210: General Chemistry 1 (5 units)
  • MATH 1151: Calculus 1 (5 units)
  • MATH 1152: Calculus 2 (5 units)
  • PHYS 1250: Physics 1 (5 units)

One additional supporting science course (4-5 units):

One introductory Earth Science course & lab (4 units)
