SES will host a mini-workshop on fluorescence analysis of dissolved organic matter by SENR Professor Rachel Gabor. The workshop is targeted towards OSU students, researchers, and faculty. During the morning part of the workshop, participants will learn background information on fluorescense spectroscopy and theoretical and statistical approaches to analyze data (for example, PARAFAC models). After lunch, participants will receive hands-on instruction on processing and interpreting fluorescence scans in Matlab. Participants are highly encouraged to bring excitation emission matrices from their own research.

We can only accommodate 15 participants. Please RSVP to Audrey Sawyer: sawyer.143@osu.edu
