Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

The School of Earth Sciences Alumni Advisory Board broadly serves as a means for connecting students and faculty with our alumni base by providing advice, guidance, and assistance on the School’s educational and research missions with the goal of fostering professional linkages. 

We have two board meetings per year on campus, one in Autumn and another in Spring semesters.

Joe Newhart (BS ,1969), retired President ExxonMobil Ventures Mexico, is the current Chair of the Advisory Board.
