Dr. David Cole, Professor and Ohio Research Scholar Endowed Chair in Subsurface Science and Sustainability, has been elected a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS). The Council for AAAS honored Professor Cole "for distinguished contributions to the field of subsurface mineralogy and geochemistry from the molecular to the geological formation scale." The Council elects members whose “efforts on behalf of the advancement of science, or its applications, are scientifically or socially distinguished.”
