Professor Berry Lyons and graduate student Melisa Diaz recently attended 2018 SACNAS: The National Diversity in STEM Conference, where they participated in a session on Arctic and Antarctic sciences. The session was designed to help students, postdocs, and faculty with a broad range of research expertise engage in polar sciences.
