FanQuake at Ohio Stadium Registers 5.79 After Winning TD Against Michigan

FanQuakes after Curtis Samuel TD to beat TTUN

Just like the Ohio State football team, the Ohio State fans saved their best for last this past weekend. The FanQuake team, a cooperative effort between the Ohio State University, Miami University and the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, took measurements of these fan-made quakes during The Game, and unsurprisingly found the highest values they had measured all season. After Curtis Samuel's double overtime touchdown, the stadium shook with the FanQuake equivalent of a 5.79 on the Richter Scale, were the shakes to happen at approximately 10km underground.

Check out the video of the game's final touchdown with the FanQuake values shown.
