Congratulations to James White on team's first place finish at ASA Datafest!

SES student James White and team place 1st in ASA Datafest at OSU

James White, third year Honors student with a double major in Earth Science and Atmospheric Sciences was, for the second year in a row, on the first place prize-winning team in the American Statistical Association Datafest™ competition at Ohio State. The event was hosted by the Undergraduate Data Analtyics Major on April 1–2, 2017. James and his continuing team members once again used his knowledge of Atmospheric Sciences to correlate weather to the large data set provided at the Datafest™. James will be a student at field camp this summer. Congratulations to James and his team!
