Join the Umwelt Center for Germanic Studies & Environmental Humanities for an undergraduate student creative contest from all fields to explore the concept of Umwelt - the unique sensory world that each organism experiences differently!
How do you see the world? How do you imagine that other creatures experience it? Show us with your creative project (jury and audience prizes available!)
Use your creative imagination to step into the shoes of a different organism, interpret your surroundings from new angles, or give an account of what your Umwelt is.
Project plans are due on April 12, with the project building event on April 22 at the Hagerty Hall Gallery & Courtyard. Four projects will be awarded $150 prizes.
Submit your project plan and attend the event to count towards your Passport to Earth Month at Ohio State.
