Earth Month Event: Neighborhood Canvass
Join the Mid-Ohio Workers Association (MWA) in reaching out to Columbus's hardest hit neighborhoods to learn what are the most pressing concerns of low-paid workers, identify potential environmental health problems and offer membership in MWA in order to access the membership benefits program and unite with other low-paid workers to build a unified voice with which to fight for long-term systemic change and real sustainable solutions to poverty and economic inequality. On the job training provided by certified organizers.Meet at MWA's offices at 2236 Summit Street, Columbus, OH 43201.Participate in the canvass to count towards your Passport to Earth Month at Ohio State.
