There will be an SES town hall forum for this Monday June 15 from 2-3pm that is open to all. The goal is to discuss what our School can do to promote diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Although we have a Code of Conduct adopted by our School, which is posted on our website, we have not embarked on a DEI statement with actions and accountability. This town hall forum marks the first of many steps toward that goal.
The main purpose is to listen to the perspectives of all and reflect on recent events. We will also use the beginning part of the town hall to discuss past efforts to make SES a more diverse and inclusive place, where our efforts have fallen short, ongoing initiatives, and concrete goals for the future.
