Upcoming conference alert! Led by our graduate students, the “Creating LGBTQ-mmunities in Paleoscience” will be held April 14-16, 2023, on OSU’s campus. 

Conference description: Mentorship and community establishment are vital for LGBTQIA* individuals in STEM. This conference aims to foster an environment that facilitates the formation of mentor-mentee relationships and promotes community-building among LGBTQIA* paleoscientists. The conference is planned for 4/14/23-4/16/23. Events include a pre-conference mixer, research poster session, panel discussion, professional development workshops, and an optional field trip to a local geologic site.
