CRC Press of the Taylor & Francis Group just published Basic Environmental Data Analysis for Scientist and Engineers by Ralph von Frese.  It is divided into two parts, where Part I introduces the basic approaches in EARTHSC 2245 for quantifying data variations in terms of environmental parameters, and Part II extends these approaches to the spectral analysis and data graphics applications of EARTHSC 5642.  The cover shows the 160-foot (160') high Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy with some travel time observations on the free fall of a mass (green ball) at one-second (1s) intervals that helped spawn modern data analysis.
